Listen Up Vermont
Listen Up Vermont offers over a thousand titles of all types
and for all ages. Books can be downloaded and saved in a variety of
ways including transferring to your home computer or a portable audio device
(MP3 or iPod), or burning to CDs in some cases. You can access this
service at home or at the library!
To
access this service, go to www.listenupvermont.org,
choose Montgomery Town Library, and sign up using your library card number.
We recommend you take the digital tour to familiarize yourself with Listen
Up Vermont. Read through the Quick Start Guide and follow the directions
to get started.
The
library added this service as part of our book budget this year, which is
funded by local taxes, fundraising and grants. The service comes to
us through the Green Mountain Library Consortium and Overdrive Media.
If
you have questions, please call the library at 326-3113 and ask to speak
to Debbie or one of our volunteers who has received training for Listen
Up Vermont.
