     The Ice Skating Rink has opened in the Center, hours are Sunday -Saturday 6-9 p.m. also Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. FREE to all Montgomery residents, skates are available.

     On 1/14 the Ladies 500 card club met at the lovely home of Denise Baker at 1 p.m. the card were being dealt out for the beginning of a great afternoon for some and not for others, Connie McFarland had high score, Carmen Scott second high and Eva Lumbra with most horses. Therese Begnoche was 1000 in the hole at one time but made a recovery before quitting time, we all had a wonderful time with many laughs. Denise had delicious refreshments and we ended with apple pie and beverage of our choice. Theresa Lamore with host our February meeting.

     Congratulations to Gary and Bobbi Jo Lumbra on the arrival of their daughter Natalie, she made her appearance on 12/27/08, also welcoming their sister are brothers Colby, Isaac and sister Emily.

     My niece Pamela and Hubby Scott Harris have arrived back to the States after being in China for several months, Scott works on new golf courses. Pam was welcomed home by her sisters Phyllis, Priscilla, Aunt Rose Lamoureux & friend Ernie, Aunt Lois and Uncle Sonny Lumbra, and her loving parents Bud and Roberta Martin of Enosburg.

     Reminder: There will be a Trustee Meeting this Sunday, Jan. 25 starting at 8:30 a.m. also for all reports to be turned in for the Annual Charge Conference Booklet. Joel Magnuson has prepared a beautiful cover for us to use. There will be an Administrative Board Meeting on Feb. 1 at the Church. Time?
