  I came home from Church today and found my husband with my Valentine’s window decorations around his neck, and with a hand made heart saying will you be my valentine signed with his love.  It was hysterical to say the least, I laughed until the tears ran down my face, but it was so beautiful and I was so surprised with his loving humor.

  On the 10th of this month the 500 ladies card club met at St.Isidore’s Parish Hall with Therese Demar hosting the meeting.  The afternoon of playing went as usual with some getting good hands and others just passing along, but its always fun, the high score for the afternoon went to Carmen Scott, second high to Therese Begnoche, and most horses was a 3-way tie, with Linda VanGieson, Theresa Lamore and Lois Lumbra the draw was won by Theresa.  The afternoon ended with a delicious dessert of a strawberry pie.    The March meeting will be at the home of Denise Baker.

  The 50 week club winner’s for the past two weeks were Bruce Thibaud, Theresa Lamore, Kathyrn Dandurand and Lisa Cennamo.

  The Montgomery Town Library will have an “Open House” on March 14, starting at 2 p.m. there will be door prizes and refreshments,  celebrating our 10th year.

  Mark your calendar and check the coming events column for the Roast Beef Dinner coming March 14, at St. Isidore’s Parish Hall,  11:30 a.m. until all are served.

  The Montgomery Elementary School will be closed from February 22-March 2.  Note:  Hazen’s Notch Assoc. will be having a Winter Vacation Day camp..from Monday the 22- 26.   For more info call  the school at 326-4618.

  Do you love books?   The School Librarian is seeking volunteers to come and help with shelving, coverings and processing books.   Call Robin Bryce at 326-4618 ext. 151.
