Our last week of February, will soon be coming to an end and we have no complaints from most of us as it has been a very unusual for Vermont weather, milder than Florida at times. It sure feels like sugar weather is upon us, UUMM for new maple syrup.
My friend Joanne Bennett was in town this week and informed me that she and hubby David are now grandparents, to a lovely granddaughter Safina Poirier, she arrived 12/18/09 to proud new parents Josh and Christina Poirier of Ottawa, Canada. The Bennetts have a second home here on West Hill Road.
The School’s Spring vacation started this past Friday 2/19 and several parents have taken off to vacation in Florida.
Many children of the Elementary School will have ART on display at the Town Library during the month of March, featured artists are Sam Lagasse, Alex Bimm, Lindsey Donna, Chad Donna, Taylor Gratton, Gavin Baker, Mitchell Vaillaincourt and Ira Messier; featured photographers are Rory Butler and Christina Youland. Also there will be an “OPEN HOUSE” on the 14th, starting at 2 p.m..
The 50 week club winner’s were Pat Carpenter and Denise Domina.
St.Isidore’s Parish will be having “Stations Of The Cross” every Wednesday evening at 7p.m. during the Lenten Season.
