The Lalia Pratt Hays Scholarship is now available from the Montgomery Historical Society for students pursuing higher education. The scholarship, usually between $300 to $500, is applicable to Montgomery high school graduating students, including those who are home-schooled.  If you have not received an application and wish to receive one contact Marijke Dollois at 326-4404 or download it from the MHS web site at www.vermont-towns.org/montgomery/mhs.htm.  The deadline for the submission is May 15.

Machine Quilting Expo will be held at the Center of NH/Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, N.H. on April 20-22, Thurs. 10-7, Fri and Sat. 9 -5.

The Montgomery Youth Group thanks everyone that made purchases of the Bluebird houses, Many thanks to Joel Magnuson and Merle VanGieson for all their labors of love in helping with this project.  There were 35 orders completed.

Character Education awards were presented to these students in recognition of Perseverance, Kyla Perry, Jenessa Ryea, Samuel Dillner, Henry Benzing, Chad Donna, Adam Sylvester, Timothy Snider, Kirsten Greenway, Matt Cennamo, Jarad Baker, Shane Robitaille and Skylar Bergeron.

Camp information available at the Guidance Office at the Elementary School, Hazens Notch Day and Overnight Camps, Vermont Voltage Professional Soccer Academy Camp, Daymoon Art Center and Retreat, Green Mountain Conservative Camps. If you are interested in one or more of these camps get the info you need now before all vacancies are filled.

The 50 Week Club winner's for the last two weeks are Roland Luneau, Tim Bates, Merle VanGieson and Armand Auclair.

Reminder..The United Methodist Women are accepting clean Spring and Summer Clothing, puzzles, toys, knicknacks, etc. Leave on the Church steps at 20 Fuller Bridge Road.  Thanks.
