What a perfect day for the 75 people that gathered with Governor Douglas to celebrate Earth Day on April 22. The Governor helped plant a sugar maple, gave certifcates to our Junior Gardeners, and cut the ribbon officially opening our new water system. He also unveiled a plaque dedicating the Water Treatment Facility to Rita Tatro, commemorating her service as Operator, Comminnioner and Treasurer from 1972 until 2008. All enjoyed goodies made by Sharon Perry, and new water, fresh from the system.
