Mark Brouillette is seeking volunteers to help with GREEN UP DAY, May 6, starting at 9 a.m., give Mark a call or show up at the Town Safety Building on Route 242. (326-2197)

Reminder of the Rummage and Bake Sale at the United Methodist Church Saturday, May 6, starting at 9 a.m.- on until we feel exhausted.

The Covered Bridges Garden Club will be held Saturday, May 6, at 1 p.m. at the Town Hall,  presentatation "Owls of Vermont" by Sally Laughlin. Everyone welcome to attend.

May 12, NWSWD will be accepting Household Hazardous materials at the Town Garage from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m..

The Historical Society invites the Public to come and enjoy writer Geof Hewitt on Wednesday, May 17, starting at 7 p.m. He will be sharing many poems of Robert Frost. (Free)

Jesse and Karen Soule have recently taken their children to vacation and tour Mexico, it was 90 degrees there and felt much colder to our natives once returning home.

Owen and Muriel Hudson are happy to be back home after being away for a few months in the warmer climate, they visited Mom Dorothy Bouldry in Mobile Alabama, daughter Sandy in Birmingham, Ala. and son Wayne and family in Phoenix, Az., we did not get to visit son Ronnie and family in Las Vegas, NV.

George and Mary Roberts took advantage of the school vacation and went to visit daughter Roseanne Antelli and her friend Staff Sargent Joshua Hosack in Minot, N.D. Roseanne attends the University of Minot, where she is a junior in Business & Marketing. During their stay, they visited the Minot Air Force Base, where Joshua is a Fireman & EMT.

The 50 Week Club winners were Scott Perry and Joan Ramey.

Happy Birthday to Carol Clokey and Kristen Mercy 5/6, Carol Kremer and Anna Beth McGovern 5/10.
