I visited my dear friend Hazel Clokey 5/5 at Franklin Rehab in St. Albans, I found her to be fit as a fiddle and she told me she keeps up on the news by reading this column each week. It was sure great seeing her looking so well. She is one great lady/friend.
Note, there will be a special Trustee meeting on May 17 starting at 8 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, in regards to new furnace.
Jody Jones and daughter Hannah have returned from an eleven day trip to Germany where they visited daughter/sister Jesse. While we were there we toured Gamisch, Bavaria; and in Italy, Florence and Siena. We had a great time.
Dana & Jennifer Kennison and son Grady vacationed in Puerto Adventuras, Mexico during the Spring school break, they had a marveleous time.
Jason & Lara Robtoy proudly announce the arrival of daughter Annalise Marie to their family, she arrived in the hands of her Dad on May 7, and weighed 7 lbs-2oz, 19-3/4 inches. Paternal grandparents Andy and Jean Robtoy, Larry and Mary Larivee, Maternal grandparents Terry and Jim Poirier, and Steve & Cindy Cushing, great-grand-pa Ed Murphy. Congratulations to all.
Looking ahead the Montgomery Annual Memorial Day observance will be Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. at the upper Village Cemetery. It will include Honors by the Enosburg American Legion Post 42, remarks by USMC veteran Doug DeVries, Roll Call and light refreshments, sponsored by M. Historical Society.
Note: There will be a Rummage and Bake Sale at St.Isidore's Parish Hall on May 23 starting at 10 -4, Sunday, May 24 Rummage only starting at 10:30-4, Monday, May 25 Rummage only 10-4. Leave things on Parish Hall undercover..Thanks!!!
