     Brrrrrr, it has been another cold Sunday, so far I have not seen any snow showers as we witnessed last Sunday coming back over Hazen's Notch. Hopefully this will be our last week of cold nights.

     Barry and Lynnda Levine welcomed their daughter Melannie home after spending a year attending college in China through Long Island University Global College.  Last year, she was based in Costa Rica. For the 2009/2010 school year, she will be studying in India, Turkey, Thailand and Australia.

     Montgomery graduates at Johnson State College on May 16, 2009, Tara Marie Ryan graduated receiving her BA degree in English and Secondary Education. Mary E. Tryhorne received her BA degree in Elemenary Education and Psychology. Congratulations and Best Wished to these two young ladies.

     Montgomery Town Library will have its annual Book and Bake Sale this Saturday, May 23 from 9-2, it will be held at 86 Main Street, at Montgomery Properties.

     Also St.Isidore's will be having their Rummage and Bake Sale, May 23, 24 & 25..see events column for more details..Thanks!!

     Monday, May 25, Memorial Day Celebration at the Village Cemetery starting at 10 a.m. sponsored by the M.H.S. The Honors by Enosburg American Legion Post 42, and Roll Call by Mr. Branthoover, Speaker Mr. Doug DeVries. Refreshments.

     MAY 30, Annual People's Prom will be held at the Town Hall starting at 9 p.m. Theme: "The King and I Shall We Dance", music by "The Funk Collection". ($30.00 per couple)

     MAY 31, Fern Walk at Bear Paw Pond Conservation Area, from 1-3 p.m. at 1000 Hazens Notch Road, free and no pets please.

     Our First big event at the United Methodist Church with "THE CHRISTIAN COUNTRY SINGERS" come and enjoy a great evening starting at 7 p.m. Theme: "GATHER AT THE CROSS". Refreshments.

     Our Heartfelt Sympathy to the Family of Lorraine St.Onge in the loss of brother-in-law Stanley St.John of East Montpelier.
