Thanks to the M. Historical Society members, the Enosburg American Legion Post 12, Veteran Doug DeVries, for their parts in the Memorial Service held on May 25, for Parma Jewett and her delicious doughnuts too.
I had an email from Bob Pupi a deacon at Community Baptist Church. You may have been wondering about all the activity going on at the Community Baptist Church here in M. Center. Well he said I got the inside scoop from Lyndol and Lila Elkins, who are trustees at the Church. They have been working diligently over there sprucing up the inside of the parsonage in preparation of the arrival of the new pastor, Rev. Larry Weeks and his family coming in June. The Congregation of Community Baptist Church got a big helping hand in early April from Faith Community Church of Barre, Vt., nine men from that church came up to help in the effort of the parsonage repair.
Carol Clokey accompanied by family members Stacy, Willie & Caleb Maynard; Joe, Marcia & Shawn Ladue and Judy Bryce attended the graduation of granddaughter Kalisha Erica Brooks at Towson Catholic High School in Randallstown, Md.on 5/21. While there they all celebrated the birthday of Keishya's, graduation party for Kalisha and toured the Inner Harbor, the girls are the daughters of Eric and Pamela (Clokey) Brooks. We all had a great vacation.
Peter (jr.) and wife Sarah VonConta and their children from Harvard, Mass. were weekend guests at the home of Cordy VonConta over the Memorial weekend 5/23-25. Heidi & Peter Howard and children Nick and Peter from Eastford, Ct. and cousins Todd & Erica Howard from Williamstown, Ct. were weekend guests at Cordy the weekend of 5/30. It was wonderful having the family here.
