     What a sad week for all of us that have known Owen and Muriel Hudson, we are saddened at the loss of Owen and sad for Muriel losing her beloved husband of 65 years, this couple was so special, the love they felt for each other it could be an inspiration to all of us. A funeral service will be held at the Montgomery United Methodist Church on Monday, June 2, a little Church they both dearly loved and helped out on all Church events, they were proud to be part of the Church Family. Muriel from all of your friends of the Community and The United Methodist Church Family we will keep you in our Prayers and we offer our LOVE to comfort you always, God Bless you and your family!
     The Montgomery Elementary School's 5,6 & 7th grades have returned home after enjoying their vacation in New York city leaving town May 28 and returning the 30th. They all had a wonderful time, returned safe and sound and very tired.

     An Ice Cream Social takes place at the Rec. Center, Tuesday, June 17 at 6:30 p.m., sponsored by Rural Vermont and FREE to the Montgomery Community..

     Sandy Bowman's friend Judy Brooks from Arizona was here for a few days for a visit.

     Kenny Domina expected his son David and his new family home from Germany this afternoon, David will be home for awhile before leaving for afghanistan.

     The June 1st blood drive reported over 40 people came to give the Gift Of Life. Thanks to all that come and participate.

     The water has been turned on at the Village Cemetery, thanks to Arthur & Lorraine St.Onge.
