The Montgomery Rec. Center will host the Annual 4th of July Parade, anyone wanting to participate,PLEASE let Peggy Doheny know by calling 933-8561. The participants will meet at St.Isadore's parking lot by 11:30 a.m. There will be a Chicken bar-b-que at the Rec. Center right after the parade, organized kids games starting at 1:30, Village vs Center Kick Ball Game, music and dancing all afternoon. Fun for everyone!!!
Michael Domina will be having three watercolor workshops this year, July 23-25, Aug. 20-22, and Sept. 24-26. if you are interested get signed up by calling his studio 1-781-925-5799. The studio is now open weekends, holidays, or by appointment, call Gila Domina at 326-4672.
Muriel Hudson has gone to Arizona with her son Wayne to be with family for awhile. Also leaving town this week are Charles and Katherine Elliott they will be going to Tampa, Florida.
The Montgomery Quilting Circle had nine members at their May meeting, four more charity quilts were brought in making the total 22 of 25 that was a goal for the year.. The group is still trying to complete a Quilt for M. Franklin of town. The group will meet this Thursday evening at the Public Safety Building at 6:30. (6/12)
The Ladies 500 Card Club met at the English Rose Inn with Carmen Scott as the hostess for June. What a wonderful time was had by all and the delicious food that was served. The afternoon finally got the cards dealt and high score went to Theresa Lamore, second high to Eva Lumbra, most horses to Lorraine Gillis, door prize to Connie Mcfarland, subs were Betsy Snider and Theresa Snider. Eva will have the July meeting on the 9th.
