      The work at the Community Baptist Church is coming to an end as the new Pastor Larry Weeks and his family are all packed in Florida and will arrive here in Montgomery on June 15. Mr. Robert Pupi has emailed me and said that the parsonage has been renovated and has new paint and all is fresh and clean to welcome the new family. Many thanks to all the help that has come from a far and locals lending a helping hand and for the ladies providing meals for the workers.

Lynda Cluba has been here in town for a visit for 3 weeks but has headed back to the Carolina's where she keeps a watchful eye on her parents. She and John have become grandparents as of 6/9, Proud parents their son Elliott and wife Shekhinah have a daughter Torah. The couple lives in Patagonia, Az.

Congratulations on the marriage of Mark Brouillette and Wendy Seano, their special day took place at Stoneybrook in Enosburg with family and friends present. (5/31) Maid of honor was Wendy's daughter Katherine.  Best man was brother of the groom David Brouillette. Wendy said that it was a wonderful day with lots of laughs and everyone having a great time.

The ladies 500 card club met 6/10 at the Snow-Shoe on Main Street in the Center, everyone had their choice of lunch and we were all pleased with the delicious food . The dealing of the cards started at one o'clock and Therese Demar took high score for the afternoon, second high was Jo Cota, and a tie breaker for most horses between Connie McFarland and her sister Theresa Lamore, Connie won.

A special prize was won by Lorraine Gillis, the afternoon ended with delicious dessert and coffee.  Evelyn Hart was our hostess. The next play will be held at St.lsidore's Parish Hall on July 8 with Therese Demar as hostess.

The 50 week club winner's for two weeks were Don Ellis and Scott Bake, Christine Snider and Dick Bocian.

Also the Montgomery Historical Society Annual meeting is Friday, June 19 starting at 6 p.m. and the officers reports at 7 p.m. at Pratt Hall.
