     On June 15, Suzanne Pelletier hosted a 50th anniversary party for her parents John and Helen Pelletier of St. Augustine, Fl., they started the celebration by a mass at St.Isadore's Church, then to a reception brunch at Jay Peak. There were 80 plus relatives arriving from Ca., Va., Fl., Tx., Ct., Ma., and Vt. The flower arrangements were created by Olga Lermontov and the beautiful wedding cake was made by Sam Murphy.

     The Covered Bridges Garden Club held its annual pot-luck picnic and flower swap at the Rec.Center this past Saturday 6/14. There was a small turnout but we all had a great time, reported president Marsha Phillips.

     Janis Hess has been with her daughter Jenna in Oregon where she graduated recently from College.

     Ann Ouellette was honored at the Elemetary School June 11, Ann has taught first grade for 30 years, Our very best wishes to you Ann as you retire.

     Sonny, Lois and Penny Lumbra enjoyed a bar-b-que with Bud and Roberta Martin and their 3 daughters Phyllis and friend Mike, Priscilla and hubby Randy Hammond both of Burlington area, Pamela and hubby Scott Harris from So. Carolina, Pam and Scott have returned from China, Scott is a shaper on golf courses.

     Happy Birthday to Scott Joyal 6/21, Lila Elkins and Gracie Elkins 6/23, Sonny Lumbra, Judy Sorrell, Lisa Greco 6/24, Natalie Royer Abilgail Paradis 6/25, Josh Potvin 6/26, Merle VanGieson 6/28.
