    The members of the Community Baptist Church is happy to announce that their new Pastor Larry Weeks and family arrived on June 15, and there were many people that showed up to help unload the truck, a very special Thanks to Pastor Archie Walker and his wife Becky, and Albert Willard all of Bible Central Community Church of Enosburgh. Pastor Larry's brother David came from Maine to help. Pastor Larrys first message will be entitled "A New Beginning" and that took place June 21. We all WELCOME Pastor Larry and his family to Montgomery. Upcoming activities at the Community Baptist Church, June 28 through July 3 "Kids Day Camp" 10a.m.- 12. Do you have children that would like to attend, Sally Newton is offering to bring your children to and from (326-4720). They will be showing a film entitled "Fire Proof" on July 3 at 7 p.m. a very good movie for married couples. There will be a FREE roast pork BBQ done Southern style on July 3 at 6 p.m..

We also Welcome Johnny Witherspoon and Allison May, they have purchased Chris DuRona's property here on Fuller Bridge Road.

Jon Betts and Jill Cummings are proud parents to a daughter Ivy Elizabeth arriving June 14. Congratulations to this young couple.(If Jon becomes a little late for work..be understanding as he is a new DAD)

HELP IS NEEDED, On July 1 at 10 a.m.come to the Village Park to weed and get the flower gardens looking good for the 4th of July. PLease come prepared and Jeffery will be there to help and show us what needs to be done.

Eighteen members of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds enjoyed their annual birthday party on June 15 at St. Isidore's Parish Hall. We had delicious food from soup too desserts that were fit for a queen. Everyone brought a gift so  everyone received one to take home, the fun part was how we got the gift, Our

Queen Mum read a story from right to left and we sent the gift going right and then to the left every time the word was said, we had alot of laughs and played games before going home.

The Montgomery Historical Society had a wonderful turnout for their annual meeting 6/19, 55 were there for the wine and food at 6 p.m. and then stayed on for the update on the annual reports. This years Lalia Pratt Scholarship awards went to Anna Charette and Melinda Rye, Congrats to these young ladies.

Nearly 100 members of the Intershack Group met this past weekend at Jay Peak for a funfilled 40th Anniversary celebration.
