     The Montgomery 4th of July parade, dedication of the new Memorial Pavilion, the Chicken Bar-B-Que remained dry, the festivities were nearly over when the rains came in. There are many dedicated people to thank for all their hard work and preparations of bringing this event together. To all of you and you know who you are from all your family, friends and neighbors we sincerely thank-you.

     John Wilson and Sue Cherrier have enjoyed the visits from John's parents Clarence and Natalie Wilson from Zephyr Hills, Florida, sister's Sue Kight from Tampa, Fl., and Pat and husband Glenn Dickey from Bangor, Me., and his brother David and wife Jeanne from Fairfax, Vt.  They all enjoyed the wedding of granddaughter/niece Amanda to Shawn Keelty on Saturday, July 8.

     Marijke Dollois and Charlie Fichman have enjoyed their visits this past week from Charlie's daughter Ilona from Washington, DC and Marijke's son Philippe and children Mark and Michelle from Toronto, Canada.

     Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rowse have the pleasure of son Franklin Taylor his wife Debbie and daughter Alana from New Zealand staying for a visit.

Mr. & Mrs. Murray Backman's daughter Deborah and husband Shawn Creaghan, their daughters Sophia and Lilly from Montreal have been here at their parents for a few days enjoying the country living.

     Janis Hess recently returned from a trip to Portland, Oregon, where she attended son Jeremiah Hess's graduation from Portland State University, earning his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. While in Portland Janis stayed with Jeremiah's sister Jenna, formerly of Montgomery and now also attending PSU.  Jeremiah and Jenna's grandparents Marj and Bill Coffman of Baker, Nevada, and father and stepmother, Dave Hess and Darby Honeyman of Vancouver, B.C., attended as well.  Jeremiah has begun his career working for an engineering firm in Portland, Oregon.

     Artie and Erin St.Onge again have opened their home to twin girls from Harlem, N.Y. for two weeks as the fresh-air children come to Vermont each summer, Brooke St. Onge enjoys the company of having her friend Zena come each summer and this year they decided to have Shaleena come, they enjoy going to the day camp and playing games and doing activities at the Rec Center.

     Need a passport ? Come to Richford Post-office on July 20 from 3 - 6 p.m..

     The 50 week club winner's were Linda Sturgeon and Evelyn Hart.
