The Montgomery Quilting Circle gathered 6/11 for an afternoon of sewing and welcomed Patty Potvin to their group. "Sunshine Quilts" will be the new name for charity quilts, and they have 19 of the 25 made for the years goal. For the July meeting we will meet and sew, Shirley will discuss how to make a bag at our August meeting and we will discuss the supplies and fabric needed for these bags at the July gathering.
Fourteen ladies of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds met at Halvy's Restaurant in Enosburgh Thursday evening for a night out to have dinner and then went to the Enosburgh Opera House to watch the show "Little Women".
The Montgomery Covered Bridges Garden Club will meet at the home of Winston Lewis and Tim Chapin on West Hill Road, July 18 starting at 1:30 p.m. Dorothy Allard will take us on a Moss Walk, and explain the different types of mosses and the environment that nuture their growth.
Coming this weekend our first Concert at Pratt Hall, "ATLANTIC CROSSING" will be coming July 18, all concerts start at 8 p.m. This is the 21st year of having concerts in the HOn August 1, "ELEVA CHAMBER PLAYERS", August 15, " 38TH PARALLEL".
The 50 week club winner's were Linda Sturgeon and Anita Woodward.
