The ladies 500 Card Club met at the home of Eva Lumbra's, Therese Begnoche had the high score, Denise Baker second high, most horses went to Connie McFarland, the August club will meet at the home of Suzanne Berkson in Enosburg, she helps her mother Lorraine Gillis with a luncheon before the cards are dealt.
Come and have fun at St.Isadore's First Community Lawn Social and BBQ, Route 242, Montgomery Center. Billy Baker's famous Chicken BBQ starting at noon, BINGO in the hall from 1 - 5 p.m., Games for the children, Sunday, August 3.
Reminder of the Community Yard Sale to benefit new playground items, we need donations for this event, or people can rent a table by calling Heather Haddick @ 326-2160. It has been planned for July 26 and if you have items to donate PLEASE bring the night before at the Rec Center between 5-8 p.m. Thanks!!
Reminder July 19th at 8:00 p.m. Pratt Hall will host the Nisht Geferlach Klezmer Band. Roughly translated the band's name means "relax, it won't kill you". They play a dixieland/eastern european/NYC jazz style. Silly lyrics and some audience participation possible...Lots of fun. First time here.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Webster arrived Sunday afternoon from Brattleboro to help their Son Jake as he recovers from appendicitis surgery.
