The Community Baptist Church has had a very active June and July preparing the parsonage for the arrival of their new Pastor Larry Weeks and his family. Many people have come to help and therefore Deacon Bob Pupi is very appreciative and thankful. The group of 18 people from Maple Spring Baptist Church of Seagrove, N.C. were here for a week helping, held a Vacation Bible School for the local children, put on a Pork Barbeque for the Community, free to all that attended. Also the C. B. Church has the rights to the movie “Fire Proof”, for those that did not get a chance to see it but would like too, please contact Pastor Weeks at 326-2185. We do not want anyone to be left out as all help was appreciated and your Deacon sincerely thanks everyone. Also mark your calendar for their next event on July 26 at 6 p.m. they will have their Annual Ice Cream Social and the Enosburg Town Band will come and play.
