Please know there was an error in last weeks column, the event for St. Isadores Community Lawn Social and B-B-Q is scheduled for August 3, starting at noon time. There will be Chicken BBQ with potato salads, coleslaw, rolls and drink $8.00 P.P. also Bingo at the Parish Hall 1-5 p.m. several games planned for the children.
July 27, Blood Drive at St.Isadore's Parish Hall starting at 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
This Saturday, July 26 there will be a Community Lawn Sale at the Rec.Center starting at 8 a.m.-3p.m.. Heather will be at the Rec Center Friday afternoon to accept donations for the sale from 5-8 p.m. This sale will benefit purchases for new playground items, we need good saleable items. Thanks!
About 85 people enjoyed the Nisht Geferiach Klezmer Band last Saturday. Spontaneous dancing erupted several times in the aisles of Pratt Hall. The next MHS event will be a "three for" in cooperation with the Library. On August 9th at 7 p.m. at the Public Safety Building Conference Room and Library, Betty Stanton will share early Montgomery family pictures and stories in a slide show. Bill Branthoover will be signing copies of the Town History, and Library will premiere MHS' Vermont History Expo exhibit on the manufacture of 3-ply veneer packing cases manufactured at the Nelson Hall Co. in Montgomery Center. There will be refreshments.
Florence Vavoudis is here visiting family and friends from Washington, D.C. she came by to worship with us Sunday at the United Methodist Church. (Note to the Trustee of the U.M.C. we will meet this Sunday, July 27 at 8:30a.m.)
Nine members of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds enjoyed a wonderful luncheon at Hoagies in Morrisville before attending the show "Grease" at Hyde Park Opera House.

Anniversary wishes to Jake and Michelle Webster 7/29, Michelle is traveling with her Mother Paulette Legault, biking from British Columbia to New Mexico, they are over half way there, they started on June 24. They will be back home before we know it. ( Scott and Lisa Baker celebrate on 8/2)
