Dear Readers, this is an important request from me, my friends the Soule's Family here in town have lost their Jack Russell puppy, they took him for a swim on 7/19 at Vincents swimming hole and took his collar off to give him a cool bath, seeing that the family came in two vehicles one went home and the one left behind thought he/she had taken the puppy Jack, upon returning home and an hour or two had passed they said where is Jack, and knowing then that he was left at the swimming hole, they rushed back but did not find him and searched most the night for him. If someone came to the swimming hole and perhaps saw the puppy and seeing that he did not have his collar on, one might think someone had left him off. BUT, that is not the case and they have a reward for his safe return, call 326-4722 if you have seen him.
There were many BMW motor cyclist around this past week and weekend and on 7/19 as I was delivering mail to my friend, there was a couple from Tennessee at the Fuller Bridge taking a picture of their bike parked in the middle of the bridge. They were very friendly and thought it was so beautiful here and remarked about the flowers in our park. Thanks to Carol McGregor for her many hours of caring for the park gardens they have been gorgeous.
Note. The Harvest Fest is planned for August 26 and will be accepting nice items for their white elephant sale, things can be left at the home of Marshia Phillips for pricing. Our appreciation and thanks, benefit the Covered Bridges Garden Club.
