  Gary and Darlene Marrier have returned home after going to the Outdoor National Archery Championship sponsored by the National Field Archery Association. The tournament was held in Yankton, South Dakota during July 21-25.  Darlene placed second in her class and Gary placed 9th. While there they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Darlene stated that the weather was in the 80-90's with humidity. They had a great time and stated that they were happy with the way they shot. Also their grandson Thad has returned to Tucson, Arizona to finish his final year of high school and prepare for college.

  The Domina/St.Saveur reunion was held July 26 at St. Isidore's Parish Hall with about 100 relatives in attendance, all bringing pot-luck to share. Those 80 plus years all received a red rose, group pictures were taken, a teacup auction, our next reunion will be held in 2010.  Here from East Hampton, Mass. were Cedric Domina, Michele Squires and daughter, Donna Grayham and son Jason and a friend Tommy, Adam Shepard, Laurie Weidhas and children, Chris and Cindy Domina and son. Guests at the home of Ralph and Theresa Snider were Andy and Louise Brodeur and children, and Monica Brown from Southhampton, Mass.

  Sonny, Lois and daughter Penny Lumbra and her son Davied Newton all enjoyed an overnight visit of son/brother/uncle Frank Lumbra and wife Karen and daughter Michelle this past Thursday. While on his way home they stopped and visited his sister Veronica and hubby in Johnson.

  The Montgomery Rescue Team, Thanks to the 42 potential donors that came to give the gift of life, the next scheduled blood drive is for September 28, same place and time.

  The 50 week club winners were Rosalia LaBier and Doris Buttendorf.

  Reminder of the events coming up, check the coming events for more info, on the 17th Old Home Day at the United Methodist Church. Aug. 17 the last concert at Pratt Hall starting at 7 p.m..
