     The July 26 blood drive was a success THANKS to Community donors that came. We collected 41 units of blood. We also wish to Thank Lutz Automotive, and First Trax for their donations of gift certificate for the drawings.

     Congratulations to Darren Davidson and Renee Roddy on the birth of their daughter Eva Renee, on July 13, she weighed 7lbs 1 oz.

     Debbie Backman and daughters Lily and Sophia from Montreal have been enjoying being at parents/grandparents Murray and Ester Backman's country home here in Montgomery Village, also brother/son Steven, his wife Dinah and sons Nicholas & Thomas and daughter Samantha, this past weekend they all enjoyed the craft event held at Jay.

     Trevor & Jodi Walker and children enjoyed a few days of swimming and fun at Fairlee Lake this week.

     Joanne Kane, Gracie Jones, Susie Ewins, Maggie Elkins (4 sisters) had a get-to-gether this past week while their niece Stephanie Podorski from Utah was here visiting and Stephanie's sister Jennifer Dewing joined in with her grandson Kaeden. They enjoyed a pot-luck luncheon and an afternoon to visit. Mike and Maggie Elkins daughter Kelly and granddaughter Emma Roger are vacationing in Paris, France.

     Sue Peters has been visiting her daughter Ann Hymul in Perrysburg, Ohio and grandchildren (5). While there Corrine celebrated her 18th birthday and she will soon be attending college in Las Vegas. Tony Peters received word that his sister Vivienne MacKrill of Toronto Canada has passed away, Our heartfelt sympathy to you and yours Tony.

     Stephanie Machia has returned home after spending some time with her old high school friends Cliff and Michele Riggs in Rawleigh, N.C. While there she enjoyed a concert by Rascal Flatts.

     Sincere Sympathy is extended to Lori Sampietro and family in the death of her father Hollis King.

     Clarence and Natalie Wilson from Florida arrived in Montgomery 8/4 and will be staying with son John Wilson and Sue Cherrier, while here they will visit family and friends here in Vermont and Maine before returning home in three weeks.

     Ten members of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds got together for a luncheon at the Cajun in Westfield 8/4 and then to an afternoon of games and prizes at the home of Rachel Wright in Lowell.

     The Community Baptist Church will have a free Bar-B-Que on August 15 starting at noon we welcome you all to come.  Also they had a great Ice Cream Social this year and the music provided by the Enosburg Town Band was very enjoyable as the crowd ate ice cream and chatted with friends.

     Do not forget the upcoming OLD HOME DAY at the United Methodist Church on August 16, Worship with lots of music, guest speaker Hank Potts, Pastor Ed Sorrell will lead the service, the United Methodist Family will serve a delicious CHICKEN-N-BISCUIT DINNER starting at 11:30 a.m. $8. for adults, less for children.

     Looking ahead a date to mark your calendar the Annual BLOCK PARTY at the Rec Center on August 29. More info later.
