After a storm birds always sing, this certainly has been true this summer. On our way to Richford Friday evening there was such a beautiful rainbow over Newport area. There were 13 ladies of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds that went to enjoy supper at Templeton's. We were well received and had a wonderful time.

Sunday (8/3) Bruce Snider Jr. and wife Heather and children were dinner guests at his grandparents Ralph and Theresa Snider.

Michelle Legault and her Mom Paulette enjoyed 31 days on a bike tour adventure from the San Juan Islands, Wa., to British Columbia to the Mexican Border. This 1956 mile trip was to celebate their combined "Century" birthdays together. They only took 4 days off from riding during this time away, Michelle enjoyed shopping in certain shops and will have a few heirlooms to enjoy and stories to tell her students when she wears them at her job.  It was a fantastic time for both Mom and daughter, but glad to be home!!

Winners of the 50 week club were Marlene Mercy and Kathryn Dandurand.
