The Old Home Day committee of the United Methodist Church wish to thank all that came and enjoyed the worship service and the delicious meal that had been prepared. (The humidity was a bit much for the workers) Thanks to all that worked, donated , our appreciation to all.  Florence Vavoudis a dedicated servant spent her last day with us and she was given a farewell send-off.  Florence will be going to Washington, DC to be nearer her daughter, she will certainly be missed.

Skip and Stacy Hoechner of Shelburne, Vt. and their children have been here in town with Jake Webster and Michelle Legault visiting and while together gave Michelle a surprise birthday party.

Congratulations to Matt and Mary Tryhorne, newly weds of August 19. They have purchased the  property of his grandparents Doug and Pearl Tryhorne on Green Mountain Road.

The 50 Week Club winner'w were Rachael Roy and randy Blaney.

Reminder of the CBGC Harvest Fest this coming Saturday, Aug. 26 on the Village Park starting at 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.. There will be something for everyone, come and bring your family and friends.

Next week school on Tuesday, August 29 will start again for the 2006-07 year.
