     School days, school days, the children will be going back to school this week, so motorist beware that the little ones can be excited, slow down please.

     We Welcome, Michael and Marnie Bimm and their boys Alex and Andrew, they are the new family that moved here from state of Georgia, and purchased Baron's place on route 118.

     Maggie Sylvester and children Kaitlin and Adam and their cousins Megan & Hunter Bosley had a great three days at Old Orchard Beach, Maine this past week.

     Beth Crane and son Roman visited her sister Sue Adams in Waltham, Mass.for a few days.

     Muriel Hudson was in town this past week staying evenings with Sally Newton, and visiting friends during the day, while her Children Wayne, Ronnie and Sandy pack-up and prepare to close up their home on West Hill.

     Fifteen ladies of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds enjoyed a lovely time 8/20 at the Sheldon Casino where they played games and had a delicious luncheon.

     Melissa Haberman has returned after attending her Father's funeral in Cleveland, Ohio. We extend our heartfelt Sympathy to her and family.

     The Covered Bridges Garden Club brought together a huge sale 8/23 on the Village Park, the weather was just fabulous and alot of sales were made and we wish to thank everyone for all the plans in putting this together, for all donations, for vendors, for Mr.Blouin and all his tents, whatever your part was, we sincerely thank-you.  Winner's of the raffles were Nicky Ford (afghan from Fiber Folks), Emily DeBruin (Wall hanging by Sue Peters), Beth Crane (Wrought iron planter from Elmer Baker), Laddi Woolhouse (Theorm paintings by Parman Jewett), Stephanie Schley (Christa Chevalier original).

     The United Methodis Church was blessed today, filling in for Pastor Sorrell was Rev.Marian Charles of town/Montreal, and with her came her friends Nancy Montgomery, Tammy Pearce and David Lefneski, we were royally entertained with music, our organist Cordy VonConta and David playing his violin made wonderful music together. Our sincere appreciation to David and Cordy for sharing this great talent with us. God Bless!!!
