Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Vaillancourt, Megan Martinson and Jonas were united in marriage on 9/13/09 at Pigeon Hill Farm in East Berkshire.  Proud parents David and Nancy Martinson and Sandra and John Beatty.  The couple will make their home in Montgomery Center.  They continued their celebration the following week with a Pig Roast where Family and Friends came together .

A very special thanks to the 33 folks that come out to donate at the Community Blood Drive that was held Sept. 27, at St.Isidore’s Parish Hall.   Also a reminder to all donors that they can register their donations at redcrosssracing.com to accumulate points that they can redeem for racing-themed gifts from the Red Cross; and they can join Team Montgomery while they are there.  The team code is RY149MO. Please note that this is a correction code to the code that was originally distributed at the blood drive a few months ago.  Next blood drive will be Nov. 22, same time, same place.

Five ladies of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds took a 2 ½ hour train ride on the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train in North Woodstock, N.H.   The restored Pullman dining cars were beautiful, with our own choices , we ate an EXCELLENT 5 course meal as we rolled along the tracks.  The scenery was just beautiful as well and I highly recommend this tour to anyone.  The Dinner Train specializes in Service Food and Scenery,

Sunday afternoon guests at the home of Sonny and Lois Lumbra were Raymond and Betty Courville of St.Albans, Betty is sister to Sonny, they enjoyed looking at the new album that daughter Veronica had put together for their 50th anniversary.
