The Hazen's Notch Association held its Annual Meeting on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Babcock Nature Preserve in Eden. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather.  The Montgomery Elementary 6th Grade visited Hazen's Notch last week to climb Burnt Mountain.  The students were rewarded with clear skies and great views on the third anniversary fall hike.  Summer 2006 was another very successful season of camp sessions at Hazen's Notch. The children were wonderful and enjoyed themselves immensely. We were blessed with a great staff of educators and had more than enough good weather to make up for the rainy start.

As a non-profit organization dedicated to community service we are committed to making the HN camp experience available to other children that are less fortunate. They have a Campership Fund, if anyone wants to donate, it will help a child(ren) to go to camp. Donation are always welcome and can be sent to HNA, P.O. Box 478, Montgomery Center, Vt. 05471. To receive their newsletter call 326-4799 and get on their mailing list. A Special Thanks to Rolf and Sharon Anderson! LL
