What a great event the Montgomery Recreational Committee had for the children Oct. 24, "the pumpkin lighting" is so special, a great family evening.  I love going to see the jack-o-lanterns all lit up, there are many with fantastic artistic faces and then the ones the children do are so funny and so precious. Thanks to all that work to bring this to us each year, its just getting the weather to cooperate.  Its now all behind us for another year, the little ones coming out to trick or treat, the parents that are not far from their little ones, having them say thank you as they get a treat.  Bless all of you, its such a fun evening having the little ones come.
Congratulations to three 7 year old girls at the Montgomery Elementary School that took part in a reading contest for the month of October, Madison St.Onge read 2200 pages, Laurel Howell around 2000 pages, and Gabby Caforia around 1000 pages, that is remarkable for such a young age, I talked with each child and they were so excited about their achievment.  We can be so proud of our youngsters.

Twelve members of the Green Mountain Ruby Reds gathered for an evening at Bernie's to enjoy some great food and fellowship. Its getting that time of year where the weather is unpredictable to plan events so we will snuggle in for the long winter ahead.

The 50 Week Club winner's were George Olio and Bernie Cousino.

Our Heartfelt Sympathy to the family and friends of Ralph Snider.

Congratulations to Jon Ramey, he celebrated his 28th anniversary of orindation November 1, 2009.
