What a gorgeous Sunday 11/8, I have my front doors open letting the sunshine come in while I write the news, went for a walk with my neighbor Maggie Elkins earlier in the afternoon, then Sonny’s cousin Carol and Arnold Parah from Swanton stopped by to say Hi.  They were enjoying the afternoon riding around before winter sets in.

Cole Ekins (9 years old) completed the Hunting Safety Course and this was “Youth Deer Hunting Weekend” he went hunting with his father Todd in Bakersfield and Sunday, Nov. 8, he shot his first buck with 4 points, dressing at 128 pounds.  Cole is the grandson of Frank and Linda Elkins of town, Linda said that Cole was very excited and proud.

Mike and Maggie Elkins had a special dinner (11/7) at their home, for his sister’s Janice and Jimmy Adams of St. Albans, and Maxine and Pete Farrar of Richford.  It was so nice, Jimmy mentioned it should be a yearly event.
