The Ladies 500 Card Club met at the home of Jeannette Sylvester on November 8 and with Jeannette as our host. The high score went to Therese Begnoche, second high to Lois Lumbra (sub for Jo Cota), most horses to Connie McFarland, and door prize to Therese Demar. They will have their Christmas Party on December 13 at the SnowShoe hosted by Linda VanGieson.
Sunday evening the Forester 500 high score went to Therese Demar, second high Connie McFarland, third high Carmen Scott, most horses Denise Baker. Even with all the bad hands someone wins.
Looking ahead at some of the events of interest, there will be a Holiday Fine Craft and Art Show on Nov 16-19th, featuring 165 of Vermont finest artists and artisians at the Sheraton Inn, Burlington. 26th Annual Greater Barre Craft Guild Winter Festival of Vermont Crafters, Nov. 25 & 26 at the Barre City Auditorioum, Sat. time 9-5 and Sun. 10-4.
Second annual Montgomery Winter Marketplace on Dec. 2, 10-3, at the Town Hall, need info call Jessica at 326-4824, sponsored by the Mountain Fiber Folks.
The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at the Town Hall on Dec. 10, 10-3.
This weeks winners of the 50 Week Club were Bill McFarland and Esther Verela.
Billy and Denise Baker celebrated their 41years of marriage on 11/13, Congratulations!
Happy Birthday to Jeff Mcgovern 11/21, Cole Elkins 11/24, Isaiah Patterson, Theresa Lamore and Dewey Smith 11/25.
