The Covered Bridges Garden Club was very exciting and very educational to all that were interested in composting, Brian Jerose said "not to worry, compost happens on its own". There were many questions asked and answered. It was a great evening and lots of delicious food and fellowship to end the meeting. 11/ 15. note..the newsletter will be out bi-monthly starting in 2007.

Reminder that the Covered Bridges Christmas party is coming up on Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. to be held at the home of Scott and Sharon Perry on Route 58, remember to bring a favorite snack to share.

George Jones show held at the Flynn Theatre this past week was a fabulous show to those that attended and a few girls from town went and enjoyed it, Jo Cota said that he sang all his old familiar songs and had a new young lady that sang with him sounding like Tammy Wynette.  I missed it, but he might be back again next year since there was such a good turn out.

The Thanksgiving dinner provided by the Enosburg American Legion for all local senior citizens was well attended and all reports to me were 'What a delicious dinner" many thanks to all that worked to bring this to so many. May you all be blessed!!

The 50 week club winner's were Jeannette Sylvester and Stacey St.Onge.

St. Isadore's Parish is once again planning the Jesse Tree, if you know someone that needs a gift at Christmas, bring his/her name on a piece of paper and age, perhaps something that would please this person, all gifts have to be under the tree by the third Sunday in December.

The Greening Service (beginning of advent season) will be held at the United Methodist Church on December 3 during the Worship Service. This is a wonderful service, the whole church is decorated during this hour.

On Dec. 3 there will be a Full-moon snowshoe tour at Hazen's Notch starting at 7 p.m. they would like reservations on or by 5 p.m. on this day, Adults $3. and $1 for children.(326-4799)
