The Elementary School will be having their Winter Concert on Thursday, December 14 at 7 p.m. and also will have a holiday ham dinner for the Community Seniors at noon and all are invited to stay and watch the 1 o'clock rehearsal. Please call for reservations 326-4618.

The Covered Bridges Garden Club Christmas party was held at the home of Scott and Sharon Perry on Route 58, where everyone in attendance had a wonderful time, enjoying great food that everyone brought along to share, and holiday fellowship, everyone was able to drive up the drive way this year but missed the sliding party just before going home, we let the kid in us come out and have a great time when we haveSNOW. A special Thanks always to Scott and Sharon for their hospitality.

There will be a Special Selectboard Meeting Tuesday,December 12th at 7:00 at the Town Hall. This informational meeting will cover the latest status of the Municipal Water Project and include proposed, new townwide bond payment rate; and new user bond payment and water use rates for all system users as a result of a new loan needed to complete the project and increase operating costs.


Terry Zartarian has returned home after leaving for Chicago, Ill, on Thursday where she attended an engagement party for son Johnny and his wife to be Jenny, the couple plan to wed in 2008.

Connie McFarland, Theresa Lamore, Diane Bocian, Judy Turner and Rachel Wright enjoyed a weekend trip to N.Y. where they went shopping, a tour guide took them to all the local tourist attractions and the "Radio City Christmas Spectacular Show" starring the Rockettes, and viewed the beautiful Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, the Red Hat friends all had a wonderful time.

The Forester's 500 Card Club Dec. 3 high scores went to Jeannette Sylvester, Billy Cabana, and Eva Lumbra, most horses Theresa Snider, Therese Begnoche hosted.

The United Methodist Church was fully decorated Sunday at the morning service with the members and children all taking part, it was a beautiful service, Thanks to Pastor Ed Sorrell and all that helped.
