Let it snow, let it snow, as I start writing something for you to have something to read, its snowing pretty hard.  It will cover up the ice and now we won’t know where it is, as it has been very bad on the sidewalks and parking lots.  Sonny and I made a quick trip to Enosburg to pick up a few things before the storm came in, leaving and returning there were 50 wild turkeys eating on the corn fields down near the old Dutchburn property.

I heard that Billy Baker Sr. was very excited Saturday morning, getting a big buck with black powder up in the back of his home.  This was one of those mornings do I get up or do I stay in where its warm, getting up and getting out there in the cold got him his prize buck, an 8 pointer and nice weight also.  Congratulations to all the hunters that got a deer and for keeping the season safe.  The hunting season is now over for another year.

Mr. Ireland from Burlington has decorated his large cement mixer truck with thousands of  christmas lights and he has invited Santa Claus to come to Montgomery with him on this Thursday afternoon.  He should be arriving around 5-5:30 p.m. at  T J’s Country Store’s parking lot to meet the little girls and boys of town.   Hot chocolate for the children.

There was an error in last weeks event also, The Christmas Eve Service at the United Methodist Church is at 5 and not 6 as stated.

Happy Birthday to Kim Smith 12/20, Mary Richardson 12/21, Nathaniel Robtoy and Dante’ B. Trim 12/22,  Noella McGroarty and Maryann Bugbee 12/24,

Happy Anniversary to Charlie and Pat Carpenter 12/20.

**Life isn’t tied with a bow, but its still a great gift.**
