     The Ladies 500 Card Club, hosted by Linda VanGieson met at the Snow Shoe Restaurant on Dec. 15 for their Christmas Party; with 12 regulars and 4 subs came together and ordered their meal which everyone enjoyed very much.  Around 1:15 the cards were  being dealt and Sally Newton took the high score, second high was Therese Demar and third high was Lorraine Gillis, most horses went to Linda VanGieson.  The four subs being Rita Tatro, Theresa Snider, Sally Newton and Lois Lumbra.  Before leaving for home everyone enjoyed Cheese cake and exchange of lovely gifts.  It was our first frigid air of the season and we all felt like ice cubes.

     The 50 week club winner’s were Beth O’Brien and Gary Greenwood. 

      Candles and Carols program held at Pratt Hall Friday evening was such a beautiful program, there were a few empty seats but not many, the dancing was very elegant, the 6 piece band that came to play all the Christmas Carols were incredible, Scott Perry’s poem and Marijke Dollois Christmas Story was wonderful and all was so entertaining, Andrew Massey our music director was his usual self bringing his humor into his job.  The decorations were absolutely beautiful bringing forth the beauty of the Christmas Season, thanks to Noella McGroarty and Marijke Dollois and their helpers for such a spendid job.  Really all the MHS directors have done a fabulous job in preparing for this event and just keeping a gorgeous building for historical and community.  Thanks to everyone for their time and caring works, God Bless each of you.

     The United Methodist Sunday School Christmas Pageant was so cute and so well done, the little children were so precious in their little outfits.  Thanks to the Sunday School teachers and the parents that helped out.  Thanks to all and God Bless!!! Happy Birthday Jesus 12/25.
