What:	We feel that our purpose as volunteers for the Town shall be guided by the following beliefs: 1. All community members of any age deserve to have open spaces where they can singly or in groups meet for educational or recreational purposes. 2. These spaces shall have facilities that will benefit the greatest number of our residents and their visitors. 3. Many townspeople have talents which can and should be shared with others. We will try to encourage and facilitate sharing. 4. Community celebrations foster community spirit, and require adequate space and facilities. We pledge to do our best with the funds we receive from the town while augmenting them where possible with fund raising in keeping with the above beliefs.
Where:	Rec Center is located on Rte 118 between the Village and the Center.
When:	The Board meets the first Monday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at the Rec Center in the summer and at Montgomery Properties in the winter.

- General Services:  We have basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, small fields for soccer, softball, or youth baseball, a playground, horseshoe courts, shuffleboard pad, and covered pavilions with picnic tables.  In winter we also flood the Center field to provide ice skating.  We also provide equipment on free loan to Montgomery residents, including snow shoes and skates.  Non residents are charged a small fee. The Rec Dept also sponsors the Town Fourth of July celebration, a youth summer camp free to kids of property owners and residents, and an annual "block" party.  The Rec Department also manages the Riverwalk Park.  Please call a Board member for additional information on any of these programs.
