Rescue Equipment

     

     We operate a 1997 Ford  E350 Type III ambulance equipped with the  Vermont standard ALS inventory.
 
     Montgomery Rescue owns a small equipment trailer that will be used during an  (MCI) mass casualty incident, as well as search and rescue operations or hazardous materials events. This trailer will be referred to as the Event Trailer which will also hold a small power generator and other rescue inventory. The rescue sled, wilderness evacuation wheeled stretcher, extra spine boards, splints, oxygen, MCI Bags, 4 Gas meter, Thermal detector, GPS units with maps, medical supplies and mobile communications are the types of things we will have ready to roll on the Event Trailer.
 
     Montgomery Rescue is equipped to have communications at several remote locations using hand held or mobile/base radios. Mobile communications systems allows us the flexibility to manage critical events that are hard to plan for and if one system is rendered out of service due to the event another takes it place. We now also have the ability to communicate with Vermont Police Agencies during a critical event.
 
     The future plans for our service include the replacement of the ambulance. In the spring of 2007 our unit will be 10 years old.
