Written by Lois Lumbra – We had a little taste of winter this past week. There is still snow on the higher elevations. Our daughter Veronica left Stowe at 11 a.m. on 10/28 to head South to pick up her son Tyler. On the way down there was a huge snow storm, as bad as she had ever been in. Thankfully she was not alone, she had daughter Sami and granddaughter Natalie with her. It sure was a wake-up call to get winter tires put on and therefore the garages were busy.
10/20-26, Connie McFarland and daughters Nancy Benson, Jane and hubby Joe Sanpetrino, joined others and went on the Champlain Bus Tour to Washington, D.C. It was a bit cool at times but they all had a real nice time. Lots of good food was enjoyed also.
10/28, Enjoyed my special day with phone calls, cards, and facebook messages from Family and Friends. Thanks to all that made it Special!!! Today, Veronica, Penny and grandson Tyler came and we had birthday cake and ice cream, plus a wonderful visit sitting around the table.
10/29, Clay Elkins celebrated his birthday while here, he came up to visit his Mom Maggie E. missed all the snow as he came up on Thursday and left Sunday to return to Mass. (We have a mountain of beautiful golden leaves here on our lawn, hope it warms up so we can mulch them up.)
ARE YOU GOING TO VOTE NEXT TUESDAY? HARD DECISION. EH?????????
