PRAYER LIST: Patrick Evans and family, Frank and John Cluba, Lauri Demore, Light family, Robitaille family, Lydia, Susie, Hogan family, Roberta Martin, Sheri Joyal, Mary, Howard King, Pat Clark, Raymond Parent, Garth Corse, Harry Tibbits, Michael Abramowitz, Larry Stowe, Lyman Lawyer, Stella, Zina, Maureen Patterson, Lorraine St Onge, Marilyn Johnson, Rhonda and Morris St Cyr, Cordy, Carrie Spenser, Gary Wetherbee, Raymond Bouffard, Nord, Pastor Bonnie and her mom Dorothy. Pray for an answer and a cure for the Coronavirus, healing for the people infected and keep the rest of us safe from developing it, pray for a united country, peace and safety for the world, a United Methodist Church and the growth of our church and the reaching out to the community. In so doing, let us pray for “Salvation” for those who do not yet know Jesus and pray for our families and friends who have not yet made that decision.

Questions to ponder: Samuel is told that God does not look upon outward appearances, but looks upon the heat. Then God chooses David, the youngest son of Jessie, to be Isreal’s next king. We know that as he grew and as life became very challenging, King David’s heart was not pure. He was a mixture of great courage and faithfulness – and great sin and failure. What do you suppose God saw and loved in David’s heart? What do you think God loves when God looks upon your own heart?

Next Week’s Scriptures: Exodus 17: 1-7, Romans 5: 1-11 and John 4: 5-42

Our Mission Statement: As a family united in Christ’s Love, we serve, through our belief in the Holy Trinity, and  follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, both in community and beyond.
